This piece is under the rule of curve problem. Curve problem is a rule that using curve - straignt - curve on two wires to activate the negative space.
Idea of Work
The curves are connecting to each other making you confusing where is the start and where is the end. The dominant reverse curve suggests the whole gesture of the piece. The variety of the used curves making this piece has interesting view from every perspect. If the dominant curve were longer, the overall proposion would be emphasized better.
